Some questions from Woodward West's FAQ
Who are the instructors?
Campers are taught by gymnastics instructors and private gym school owners/directors/staff from Monterey Gymnastics
as well as other gymnastics schools.
How much does it cost?
Estimated cost for a 3 day weekend is $125-$150 per gymnast. Cost includes lodging, food, use of gymnastics facilities and recreation time.
What will the campers eat at Woodward?
Three meals a day are included in the fees. Hot breakfast entrees are complemented by a cold cereal, bagel, and fruit bar.
Along with two lunch and dinner entrees are soup, salad, potato, or pasta bar, dessert, and drinks.
Where do Campers stay?
Campers stay in cabins with approximately 13 others. For the train away, campers will to stay with their team.
Each cabin has a counselor/parent/chaperone that is at least 18 years old.
What should be brought to Woodward?
Remember to bring your work out clothes, leotards and grips as well as towels, a pillow and bedding or sleeping bag. Please mark all of your clothing with your
first and last name using a permanent marker. Lost and found items are easier to find and return with names on them.
Do you have to be a certain skill level to attend?
For the train away, gymnasts must be at least Pre-Team (pre level 4) or above. Gymnasts will be grouped with others of the same level.
What do you sell in the Store/Canteen?
The Store/Canteen sells necessities and Woodward apparel including leotards, shorts, T-shirts, sweat shirts, hats, etc.
